HARRISBURG, PA, US. (February 16, 2010) – Arcus, an international talent management and consulting solutions company announced today that Ben Allatt has moved into a new role and will serve as the organization’s Director of Diversity and Delivery.
Ben will use his background and personal and professional experiences to focus his attention on diversity and overall service delivery where he will be responsible for the United States and Costa Rica sourcing and recruiting efforts and the overall leadership of the delivery team. Additionally, as Ben continues to focus on diversity strategies for Arcus and its’ clients, he will network with community and nationally-based diversity organizations to enhance and foster Arcus’ understanding of diversity processes and will serve as an advocate and liaison for corporate community outreach partnerships and educate employees on ways to become more involved.
Ben has been with Arcus for more than 6 years and has served in numerous roles and capacities throughout his tenure. He has a solid understanding of all facets of the company and the factors that lead to its success throughout the past decade, and has focused on providing recruitment services within higher education, technology, sales, marketing, healthcare and the public sector. He also has more than 9 years experience in the staffing industry. Ben received his bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Messiah College and is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Harrisburg Area’s Community Leadership Series Program.
He also lends his talent within the region through his active involvement with the Arcus Can Hunger campaign, Bethesda Mission and Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, as well as at colleges, providing career guidance and resume development. Additionally Ben is involved in mentoring programs with at-risk youth at Common Roads, a program arm of the LGBT Community Center Coalition of Central Pennsylvania that provides education, advocacy and programming to empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth throughout the Central Pennsylvania region. Ben also sits on the Board and chairs the marketing committee for Open Stage of Harrisburg, a regional professional theatre and educational program dedicated to supporting a company of artists to present diverse offerings of thought-provoking theatre and educational activities in intimate settings.
